2. This website

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking tools and loads no content from third parties (no external fonts, scripts or maps). Text you type into the “Give it a task” field is only shown in your browser and is neither stored nor transmitted.

3. Hosting

The website runs on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. To deliver the pages, the web server necessarily processes your IP address and the requested address. The web server keeps an access log (time, requested page, response code, browser type, referring page) to count the use of the website; your IP address is never stored in it, but to count daily unique visitors it is combined with the browser identifier into a pseudonymous daily tag, using a key that exists only in memory and is replaced every day, so tags of different days cannot be linked and do not identify anyone; the log is deleted after 90 days. Error messages of the server itself are recorded in system logs. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating the website securely).

4. Waitlist and contact by email

If you sign up for the preview using the form on this website, we store your email address and the time of the sign-up in order to inform you about the preview version of OffiAI. Your IP address is not stored; it is only used briefly in memory to prevent abuse through mass sign-ups. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you can withdraw at any time by email to preview@offiai.app. The sign-up is stored on our server at Hetzner (Germany) and forwarded as an email to our mailbox.

If you email us directly, we process your email address and the content of your message in order to answer your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR).

Emails are processed via Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd.); we have a data processing agreement with Microsoft. We delete your data as soon as it is no longer needed for this purpose or you ask us to.

5. Chat assistant

On some pages you can ask a chat assistant questions about OffiAI. Your question, together with the conversation so far in this window, is sent to our server at Hetzner (Germany) and from there to Anthropic PBC, 548 Market Street, PMB 90375, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA, whose AI model generates the answer. We store neither questions nor answers: the conversation exists only in your browser window and is gone once the page is closed or reloaded. No cookies are set for this and nothing is stored in your browser. To prevent abuse we count requests per IP address; for this your IP address is only used as a hash value with a key that changes daily, and it is discarded after 24 hours at the latest.

Anthropic processes the content on our behalf to generate the answer and, according to Anthropic, does not use it to train its models; Anthropic may retain inputs and outputs for a limited time to detect abuse. The transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission (Art. 46 GDPR). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering questions about our product quickly). Using the chat is voluntary; please do not enter personal data. You can always email us at preview@offiai.app instead.

6. The OffiAI app

The app shows the work of an AI agent that you have installed on your own device yourself and use with your own account. The content of your tasks is stored on your device and, where applicable, in a Git repository of your choice, not on servers of Delicatino GmbH. The privacy policy of the respective AI service’s provider applies to that service. See also the privacy policy of the app.

Plugin for the Claude desktop app (Cowork). The open-source plugin “offiai” runs a small bridge on your Mac while the Claude app is open. It sends the conversation label Claude chooses (a short topic and the start time), one-line summaries in Claude’s own words and connection messages only to the OffiAI app on the same device (127.0.0.1). For a task you start with OffiAI’s “New Cowork task” button, it also sends a copy of Claude’s answer to that message (at most 2,000 characters). Nothing is sent to Delicatino GmbH or to any other recipient; the summaries contain no secrets, credentials, personal data, verbatim prompts or file contents. Answer copies are Claude’s own reply to a message you wrote and may contain whatever that reply contains; OffiAI masks credentials, e-mail addresses and local paths before showing them. OffiAI shows them in its window and does not save them. The “New Cowork task” button hands the text you type to the Claude app on your Mac through Claude’s own link (claude://); it is sent to Anthropic only when you press send in Claude. OffiAI needs no extra macOS permission for this and does not type into the Claude app for it. When Claude passes it, the plugin also sends the conversation’s id from Claude’s workspace, so OffiAI’s “Open in Claude” button can open that conversation in the Claude app; OffiAI uses it for nothing else and does not save it. If you turn on “Send from OffiAI into Claude conversations”, OffiAI types your text into the Claude app only when you press “Send now”, using macOS Accessibility; it does not read your conversations or use the clipboard. Only if Node.js is missing, the plugin writes a small status file on your Mac so OffiAI can show why the bridge did not start.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). To exercise them, contact us at the address above. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen.
