Beta 39 updates OffiAI so that a job waiting for your review keeps its desk until you decide. The app will no longer silently displace your pending reviews when new tasks begin.

When you start work at a desk or use Archive → Reopen, OffiAI now claims a free desk first. Delivered and Reviewed work keeps its assigned desk while the conversation is still reported and awaits your decision. If every desk is held and no desk can safely yield, the office shows how many conversations are waiting for a free desk. You are asked to free a desk or wait and retry, rather than having your review replaced.

You can see your pending reviews at their desks in the office. When you mark a job done, its desk is freed after the grace time you set in Settings (“Free done desks after (minutes)”), unless you are still typing in its drawer. To clear a desk yourself, open its Talk drawer and choose Release idle desk; the app asks before it releases anything.

Two smaller fixes come with it. Switching off “Work on its own branch” at Reception now says that the task will use the shared folder. A kept working folder that no longer exists shows “Folder no longer exists” and offers Forget.

One honest limit: after a restart, a quiet Cowork conversation may only reappear at a desk once it reports again. Anything not at a desk is still in the Archive.
